Files you upload

When you drop a file into a tool on hitcreate.io/tools/:

• It goes to a server in Brisbane, Australia, operated by FYI United Group Pty Ltd (ACN 665 393 546).
• It's stored in a temporary folder, processed by open-source tools (libheif, ImageMagick, sharp, ffmpeg), and the converted copy is returned to your browser.
• Both the original and the converted copy are deleted from the server within 10 minutes. No human reads them. They're not used for training, analytics, or anything else.
• We do not keep filenames, EXIF data, or any image content beyond the 10-minute processing window.

Email address (only if you give us one)

If you tick the consent box and submit your email after a conversion, we store:

• Your email address
• The tool you used (e.g. heic-to-jpg)
• Your IP address (to prevent abuse)
• Your browser user-agent string (same reason)
• A timestamp

We use it to send you the requested resource and occasional updates from HitCreate. You can unsubscribe from any email we send. To delete your record, email [email protected] and we'll remove it within 7 days.

What we don't do

• We don't sell, rent, or share email addresses with third parties.
• We don't run ad-tracking or third-party analytics on the tool pages.
• We don't store your uploaded files past 10 minutes.
• We don't use your files to train AI models.

Cookies

No tracking cookies on the tool pages. Caddy (our web server) sets a session cookie for rate limiting, which expires when you close your browser.

Your rights (AU Privacy Act 1988 + GDPR if you're in the EU)

• Access: ask what we hold about you.
• Correction: ask us to fix an error.
• Erasure: ask us to delete your record.
• Complaint: Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or your local EU DPA.
